Ms Jocelyn Chua
I believe that teaching is about inspiring questions and creating independent learners by building curiosity in young minds. In our ever-changing world, we should aspire to keep up with the changes and the best way to do so would be to cultivate a mindset for life-long learning.
Mathematics is not just about numbers and patterns, it is also about building a strong foundation in developing our problem solving skills and logical thinking abilities which will definitely come in handy in all that we do.
Through the years, I came to realise that teaching is also a journey where even the teacher continues to learn and grow, with every experience contributing to self-improvement and motivation to make a difference in my students’ lives.
